Sports Network) - The St. Louis Blues will try to get back on the winning track tonight, as they visit Colorado Avalanche at the Pepsi Center in the opener of a home-and-home series.

The Avs are hopeful tonight's game will be played despite the fact that the second major snow storm in eight days has struck the Denver area. Colorado already had to postpone its contest against the Calgary Flames on December 21.

The Blues had their season-long three-game winning streak halted Tuesday evening in Nashville, as the Predators skated to the close victory. Alexander Radulov scored the game-winning goal in a shootout to lift Nashville over St. Louis, 3-2.

In the fourth round of a scoreless shootout, Radulov used a backhand shot and beat Manny Legace glove side to give the Predators their second straight victory and seven out of eight overall.

Radek Dvorak and Bill Guerin scored goals for the Blues, while Legace stopped 27 shots in defeat.

The Avalanche are also coming off a loss, having dropped Wednesday's game to visiting Dallas. Jeff Halpern scored the game-winning goal and added two assists, as the Stars came from behind to defeat Colorado, 5-4.
