(Sports Network) - The Columbus Blue Jackets begin a season-high six-game homestand this evening, when they welcome the Phoenix Coyotes to Nationwide Arena.

The Blue Jackets are coming off back-to-back road losses and will be happy to be back on their home ice. Columbus is 12-10-3 as the host this season, compared to just 9-17-2 as the away club.

Columbus is coming off a lopsided setback, as it was handed a 6-2 thrashing in Calgary on Friday. Kristian Huselius, Jarome Iginla and Robyn Regehr each posted a goal and two assists to lead the Flames to the easy win.

Rostislav Klesla and Jason Chimera each scored for the Blue Jackets, who have dropped the two straight tests after a four-game winning streak.

Columbus netminder Ty Conklin gave up five goals on 16 shots before being pulled in the second period for Tomas Popperle, who finished with seven saves.

While the Blue Jackets are starting a homestand, the Coyotes are kicking off a four-game road trip tonight. Phoenix is 11-15-1 as the visitor this year and has dropped three of its last five on the road.
