COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) -The Columbus Blue Jackets placed left wing Rick Nash on injured reserve Thursday because of a back injury, and said defenseman Duvie Westcott will be sidelined indefinitely because of a concussion.
Nash, injured Friday night against Anaheim, is tied for the club lead with 13 goals and ranks second with 17 assists and 30 points. He is listed as day-to day.
Westcott has four goals and six assists in 23 games. He was hurt during a 5-2 loss to San Jose on Saturday night.
