NEW YORK -- Eric Lindros will be out two to four weeks after injuring his left shoulder during the New York Rangers' victory over the Florida Panthers.

Lindros has a sprain in the area where the shoulder and collarbone meet the chest, the Rangers said Tuesday. An X-ray Monday night was negative.

From the clips of Rangers game I saw, I was rather impressed by his performance.

One thing troubled me though when I check the official stats from NHL.com it seems that he's only been getting 15-16 minutes of ice time a game, which is just slightly more than the 13 minutes that Messier gets. How does Slats expect him to carry this team if he's only getting 16 minutes of ice a game, he should be out there for minimum 20.
