OWEN SOUND, Ont. (CP) - Ryan Bellows scored the winning goal in a shootout to lead the Barrie Colts to a 2-1 win over the Owen Sound Attack on Wednesday in the Ontario Hockey League.
Vladimir Nikiforov also scored in the shootout after Kris Sparre and Daniel Minor missed on Barrie's first two chances. Bobby Ryan scored on Owen Sound's first shootout attempt, but Trevor Lewis, Zach McCullough and Scott Tregunna failed to beat Colts goaltender Andrew Perugini.
Owen Sound sent the game to overtime on Lewis's power-play goal with 18 seconds remaining in regulation.
