BOISE, Idaho (CP) - Kevin Baker and Ken Magowan had a goal and an assist each as the American Conference scored three times in the second period on their way to a 6-3 win over the Nationals in the ECHL all-star game Wednesday night.
Brad Schell, Colton Fretter, John Laliberte and Jamie Tardif had the other goals for the American Conference. Derek Nesbitt, Luke Curtin and Julian Talbot replied for the Nationals.
Both teams used three goalies, with Cedrick Desjardins stopping all nine shots in the second period to earn the win for the Americans. Adam Berkhoel made 10 saves in the opening period and David Shantz allowed a pair of goals on 17 shots in the third.
