CRANBROOK, B.C. (CP) - Andrew Bailey scored two goals and Mike Busto had two assists as the Kootenay Ice dumped the Regina Pats 4-2 in Western Hockey League action Sunday night.
Ben Maxwell opened the scoring for the Ice with a power-play marker on a slapshot from the top of the circle. Curtis Billsten beat Pats goaltender Linden Rowat for his team-leading 14th of the season at 17:47 to carry a 2-0 lead into the second period.
Matt Delahey's first-ever WHL goal came in the second period on a point shot that eluded Ice starter Taylor Dakers.
Just over a minute later, Bailey scored his first of two when he walked out of the corner and slid the puck past Rowat to make it 3-1.
