(Sports Network) - The San Jose Sharks will try to get back in the win column when they battle the Colorado Avalanche tonight at the Pepsi Center.

The Sharks had won four straight before being dealt a setback in Los Angeles on Monday. Dustin Brown scored the game-winning goal in the third period as the Kings earned the 4-2 win at the Staples Center.

Milan Michalek and Joe Thornton each had a goal and Vesa Toskala stopped 30 shots for the Sharks, who had won six of seven coming into the contest. Michalek has registered a point in five straight games for the Sharks. He has one goal and six assists during the stretch.

Tonight marks the end of a four-game road trip for the Sharks, who are 7-4-0 as the visiting club this season.
