(Sports Network) - The Minnesota Wild will try to win back-to-back games for the first time this month when they host the Colorado Avalanche tonight at Xcel Energy Center.

The Wild began the season on a six-game winning streak and also won three straight later in October. Minnesota is 3-4 so far in the month of November.

Minnesota won a crazy game Thursday in Nashville as Brian Rolston scored the decisive goal in the shootout to lift the Wild to the thrilling 7-6 victory over the Predators. Minnesota scored three unanswered goals to send the game into overtime and then the shootout.

Mikko Koivu scored a goal and had two assists while Pavol Demitra and Stephane Veilleux each posted a goal and an assist for the Wild.

Minnesota netminder Manny Fernandez allowed five goals on 20 shots and was pulled in the second period. Niklas Backstrom replaced Fernandez and finished with 24 saves for the Wild.
