(Sports Network) - The Colorado Avalanche will try to avoid their third straight setback tonight, when they visit the St. Louis Blues at the Scottrade Center for the finale of a home-and-home series.

The teams met Friday night in Denver and St. Louis earned the 4-2 victory as Martin Rucinsky scored two goals.

Bill Guerin had a goal and an assist for the Blues, who have won four of their last five games.

Manny Legace stopped 30 shots in the win, and improved to 4-0-1 in his last five games.

Joe Sakic and Wojtek Wolski each had a goal and Peter Budaj made just 16 saves for the Avalanche, who have lost their last two games.

Sakic has notched goals in three straight games and is also nearing a milestone. The 37-year-old center now has 1,530 points in his career and needs just two more to pass Paul Coffey for sole possession of 10th place on the NHL's all-time list.
