(Sports Network) - The Colorado Avalanche shoot for their third straight win on Saturday night when they wrap up a three-game road trip against the Montreal Canadiens at the Bell Centre.

The Avalanche opened the trip with a win over Toronto before posting a victory against Ottawa on Thursday. Brad Richardson had a shorthanded goal late in the second period for the eventual game-winner and Joe Sakic also scored in the 2-1 victory.

Sakic leads the club with six points and Richardson is tops with three goals.

Goaltender Jose Theodore turned away 26 of the 27 shots he faced for Colorado, which collected its first win in Ottawa since January 9, 1997. Theodore will return to the Bell Centre for his first game against the Canadiens since he was traded to the Avs for David Aebischer in a deadline deal on March 8.
