DENVER – The Colorado Avalanche Hockey Club announced today that it has activated forward Brad May from injured reserve.

May, 35, has been out the entire season with a shoulder injury suffered during a preseason game on September 25 against Detroit.

The Avalanche also announced today that the club has reassigned forward Antti Laaksonen to Albany of the American Hockey League.
