HALIFAX (CP) - An assistant coach who was injured when a bus carrying a New Brunswick hockey team went off the road on the weekend remained in critical condition on Tuesday.
Bob Vail, 56, of the Woodstock Slammers of the Maritime Junior A Hockey League was taken to hospital in Halifax for treatment of his injuries. His family released a statement thanking people for the support they have received since the accident.
Vail, 22 players, five team officials and the bus driver were injured when the bus flipped on its side in Days Corner, P.E.I.
