Lightning winger Evgeny Artyukhin has rejected the team's latest contract offer, reports the St. Petersburg Times.

Tampa Bay offered Artyukhin the same three-year, $1.575 million deal it gave Nick Tarnasky, but GM Jay Feaster told the Times the overture was rebuffed.

"We were told that they are not the same player," he said.

Artyukhin's agent, Mark Gandler, told the Times his client will again play in Russia next season and hopes the Lightning trades his client's rights.
Stay in Russia, Feaster should go ahead and trade him and get a player would be willing to play for the organization. Not sure what Artyukhin was expecting in a contract? Ah well
