Owen Sound’s Bobby Ryan set a franchise record for points scored in a career Saturday night as his two assists have him at 296 career points. The record was held by Colorado Avalanche left winger Andrew Brunette (295 points) for 14 seasons.

Sarnia’s Steven Stamkos now has 33 goals and 41 assists for 74 points passing the previous Sting rookie record of 32 goals, 40 assists and 72 points set in 1998-99 by Jeff Heerema.

Robert Kitamura, the Director of Central Scouting and Player Development for the Ontario Hockey League, was selected this week as Director of Operations for Ontario's Under-17 Team through 2009.
