Former Augusta Lynx goaltender Mike Wall picked up a victory in his NHL debut with the Anaheim Ducks on Sunday in a 5-3 win over the Calgary Flames. Wall finished with 19 saves.

The Long Beach Ice Dogs acquired defenseman Stuart Kerr from the Phoenix Roadrunners last Friday for future considerations, but Long Beach will play without left wing Kip Brennan for the next seven games for leaving the bench at the conclusion of last Saturday’s game at Phoenix. Ice Dogs right wing Eric Neilson and defenseman David Walker were both handed two-game bans, while Roadrunners defenseman Alex Rouleau was suspended for one game. Both franchises were fined for their actions.

The Utah Grizzlies picked up rookie left wing Danny Stewart from the Bakersfield Condors last Friday for future considerations.

The Idaho Steelheads, who have a four-point lead in the West Division, tabbed Will Hoenike as director of season ticket relations.

The Reading Royals snapped a four-game losing streak on Wednesday night with a 3-1 win over Gwinnett.

The Texas Wildcatters have not lost a game in regulation in their last 10 games (8-0-2) and have taken over first place in the South Division.

The Pensacola Ice Pilots dealt brothers Derek and Jordan Krestanovich to the Victoria Salmon Kings on Tuesday in exchange for Adam Taylor and David Wrigley. Pensacola, which entered Thursday night’s action with just three wins in its last 10 games and 18 points behind Texas in the South Division, also acquired veteran forward Joe Dusbabek from Phoenix this week for future considerations.

Alaska Aces rookie Isaac Reichmuth was named the Rbk Goaltender of the Week after winning two games on the road while posting a 1.44 GAA and a .945 save percentage.

Texas center Olivier Proulx was tabbed the In Glas Co Player of the Week after tallying eight points and a plus-5 rating in four games.
