ROCHESTER, N.Y. (AP) - Winger Andrei Kostitsyn scored two goals and set up three as the Hamilton Bulldogs blitzed the Rochester Americans 8-4 Friday in American Hockey League action.
The Bulldogs zoomed to a 3-0 lead in the first 12:57, with Kostitsyn assisting on goals by Zach Stortini, Mikhail Grabovski and Dan Jancevski, and the Americans never recovered. Hamilton pulled to within six points of the first-place Americans in the North Division with the win. The Bulldogs are 16-10-0-1 and have 33 points. Rochester fell to 19-6-1-0 and has 39 points.
