Jason Allison's time with the Toronto Maple Leafs may not be over.

Sources say the Leafs are among a number of teams expressing interest in the free agent forward's services. One of the teams is rumoured to be the Calgary Flames.

Allison recently met with Toronto to discuss the possibility of his return and there is speculation which suggests that the Maple Leafs may table an offer by the end of the week to keep the veteran for at least another season.

In 66 games last season, Allison scored 17 goals and added 43 assists for 60 points.

This team is not going anywhere. They continue to make the same "mistakes" over and over again.

Signing McCabe to $5.75M contract... with a no-movement clause!

Offering Antropov a contract, and now having to go to arbitration unless they can trade him (not possible)

Trading Rask for Raycroft, when his value is well above that

It's ridiculous. once again it'll be a painful season for Leaf fans. We'll watch them just make the playoffs, and bow out in the first 2 rounds like always. MLSE couldn't have planned it any better.
