Ramzi Abid scored the game-winning goal in overtime for Milwaukee, who defeated the Houston Aeros 3-2 in a wild finish at the Toyota Center on Tuesday night.

Goals from John Vigilante and defenseman Mikko Lehtonen, who also assisted on the game winner, put the Admirals ahead 2-0 midway through the second period.

Falling into a 2-0 hole, Houston defenseman Shawn Belle scored a power-play goal towards the end of the second period, closing the gap to 2-1.

With both teams firing 13 shots in the third period, Matt Foy scored a short-handed goal with 15 seconds left in regulation helping the Aeros secure a point in the standings, before Abid’s goal in overtime won it for Milwaukee.

Karl Goehring stopped 33 of 35 shots on the night for Milwaukee, who has gone 6-2-0-1 in its last nine games, with one of the losses coming at the hands of the Aeros by a score of 6-1 on Sunday.
