BOUCHERVILLE, Wednesday, January 3, 2007 - A few teams made deals on Wednesday. The PEI Rocket sent wingers Tyler Hawes (87-08-06) and Benoit Lévesque (89-06-10) to the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies for their second round pick in the 2007 QMJHL Entry Draft. Hawes had accumulated twenty-nine points in thirty-five games with the Rocket this year.
Moreover, the Cataractes sent forward Steve Bellefleur (86-05-30) to the Sea Dogs for their sixth round pick (acquired from Rouyn-Noranda) in 2007.
In another move, the Foreurs sent winger Luc-Olivier Blain (89-11-16) to the Saguenéens for their fifth round selection (acquired from Victoriaville) in 2008.
The trade period ends on Monday, January 8, at noon.
