Rookie Lukas Flueler didn't get the shutout Sunday, but getting the win is enough for the Swiss goalie.
Flueler stopped 42 shots as the 67's edged the Owen Sound Attack 2-1 in Ontario Hockey League action.
"It was a good game for the whole team, not just for me," Flueler said. "It was a hard game, Owen Sound has a really good first line. It shows we worked really hard against a good team."
Flueler's record improves to 4-7-0-1.
Thomas Kiriakou's goal late in the second period proved to be the winner.
Jamie McGinn had the other goal for the 67's (23-24-0-3), who rebounded from a dismal 8-4 loss to the Toronto-St. Michael's Majors a day earlier.
Scott Tregunna replied for Owen Sound (23-23-3-3), which lost for the third time in three days and the fifth straight time overall.
Anthony Guadagnolo made 29 saves for the Attack, which had a good chance for the equalizer in the third period when it enjoyed a two-man advantage for 82 seconds but couldn't capitalize.
