Bonjour Quebec!

That’s what the French men’s national team will be saying in 2008 as they won the IIHF World Championship Division I, Group A in Qiqihar, China after defeating Kazakhstan in a stunning 3-1 win.
More important than the gold medals is the trip to Canada that goes along with them, as France returns to the top division for the first time since 2004.
China was relegated to the 2008 IIHF World Championship Div. II.
