  1. Who has the hardest shot in the NHL?

    The NHL Forum
I saw the same thing, but i'm not sure how well calib rated that radar gun is. If it was certified, then yes, chad Kilger is the new champ. McCabe also has a howitzer. Notice how teams step up on him during the power play now?
  2. ovechkin's hit on briere merely $100.00..wow

    Hockey Trades, Rumors & Signings
Seriously, relax. The hit was dirty, yes, but it wasn't all that bad. Taking into account that Ovechkin is 6-2, 210 or so and Briere is 5-7, 160, stuff like that will happen. Ovechkin should know better than to hit from behind, but its not like he meant to injure Briere, or send him flying into...
  3. Lacrosse?

    Other Sports
solid dude, keep on working at those stick skills Wallball is your best friend!
  4. An Idea On Paying Players

    The NHL Forum
It would make for the most selfish, boring play ever. Everyone would try scoring with end to end rushes, terrible shots and dumb plays.
  5. Lacrosse?

    Other Sports
I'm 20 years old, so I play Varisty for University.
  6. Seabrook To Buffalo?

    Hockey Trades, Rumors & Signings
i say smoke. if you were the gm of the sabres, why would you mess up the chemistry? i'd wait for an injury first.
  7. 1975-76 Nhl Season Replay

    Fantasy Hockey
Seriously dude, this is the Fantasy Forum. We all know that you're obsessed with hockey from the past, but this isn't the forum to post this.
  8. Cast your vote for NHL all star Game

    The NHL Forum
West Zetterberg - Thornton - Iginla Phaneuf- Niedermayer Kipper East: Ovechkin - Malkin - Hossa Kaberle - McCabe Brodeur
  9. Alfredsson leaving Ottawa?

    Hockey Trades, Rumors & Signings
Exactly. Why would you move Heatley or Spezza? The Sens are building their franchise around those two guys. The Sens are lacking leadership, which is why their captain might walk the plank.
  10. NEED HELP:Stick Handling

    The NHL Forum
keep those hands soft. literally. just allow your wrists to do the work and don't grip the stick tightly. also, when recieving a pass, position the stick so that you can absorb the impact of the pass.
  11. Blue Jackets Fire their coach

    Columbus Bluejackets
I think that was a good move. I mean, when you have offensive weapons like Carter, Fedorov, Nash, Vyborny and Zherdev, scoring should not be a problem. I think this is a case where the coach actually deserved to get fired.
  12. There's a tradin' a comin'...

    Hockey Trades, Rumors & Signings
Ottawa can't afford to sign a true #1 goalie. Gerber would be too expensive a backup, and no team would take his contract, which would handcuff the Sens for years. I think Forsberg has been/is in the process of being traded. he didn't dress for today's game, and there are no reports that he's...
  13. "Big Tampa Deal Coming with a Western Canadian Team"

    Hockey Trades, Rumors & Signings
So I'm guessing that you have someone in the organization telling you this, right? It's not like Richards is untouchable. In pro sports, no player, no matter how good, is safe. Remember a guy named Gretzky? He was traded several times. The only reason I don't think Richards is the guy they'll...
  14. "Big Tampa Deal Coming with a Western Canadian Team"

    Hockey Trades, Rumors & Signings
The thing is, Tanguay will never play to his potential in Calgary. He's a secondary scorer, a Maple Leafs/Avalanche/Sabres/Canadians type of player. When you get him in a defensive system like Calgary or New Jersey, it's completely out of his element. All Iginla needs in a centre who has can...
  15. "Big Tampa Deal Coming with a Western Canadian Team"

    Hockey Trades, Rumors & Signings
I could actually see that deal happening. Of all the guys the Flames might be interested in, Richards has too big of a contract to move and Calgary doesn't need another scoring RW (St. Louis). If nothing else, it should free up some cap space for Tampa, who really screwed themselves by signing...
  16. Morrison could be on the move?

    Hockey Trades, Rumors & Signings
I'm not so sure about that one. I mean, Morrison has had several great seasons with superstars on his wings and has put up points. Crosby has had, one 100 point season? That's a fluke. I think if the Pens threw in Evgeni Malkin along with Crosby, then it might be a fair trade for both teams.
  17. There's a tradin' a comin'...

    Hockey Trades, Rumors & Signings
Yup, mark my words. Anaheim and San Jose will move their goalies.
  18. Bruins demote Toivonen

    Hockey Trades, Rumors & Signings
so, I shouldn't pick up Toivonen in my fantasy league?
  19. brendan Shanahan trade

    Hockey Trades, Rumors & Signings
First of all, Shanahan left via free-agency. 2nd of all, there was a changing of the guard in Detroit and Shanny wasn't happy there, so his play would probably reflect that, if he were still with that organization. 3rd of all, Yzerman was by no stretch Detroit's best player last season. That...
  20. There's a tradin' a comin'...

    Hockey Trades, Rumors & Signings
Me neither. Calgary, if anything, would be going after Morrison to try spark Iggy. Also, trading Alfredsson would defeat the purpose of Ottawa getting Morrison, because the whole point of getting a 2nd line centre is to play with Alfie. Trade doesn't make sense for 2 of the 3 teams involved, so...
