Well I'd definitely like to affiliate with you guys. I'm trying to affiliate my hockey forum with as many other hockey forums as I can. When will the affiliates section be back open/not hidden anymore? Also I see you're an admin and what should I do to try to get an affiliation? Send you a PM of my site and some details or something? Just wondering here not trying to push this on you guys or anything.

Good idea I can see it working out.

If you guys are interested, I run a Senators site (see sig) and we're always looking for other hockey sites to exchange links with.

Possibly promote it on other forums? I see activity has dropped a bit since my last visit(which was really long ago).

Hopefully I intend to stay active this time.

I just wasted maybe an hour of my life looking back through old threads from when I first joined. Ahhh, the memories; the lock out, speculation about Sidney Crosby's career, GJG spamming the site... Anyway, this place used to be way more active and the posting community maybe a bit more "close". Now it is just a shell of what it once was, it seems. Not even I show up that often anymore. I wish it could be like those old days...

I know this could be an extremely stupid idea, but I think if we do it carefully we could get some more smart hockey fans on here.

If anyone has a youtube account and you know SMART hockey fans. for example people who don't say Obitchkin, or Crosbitch. We should invite them to this website so they can talk hockey with knowledgeable people. Because there are a handful of smart people who post on youtube videos and know hockey.

I remember before I came on here I would post on youtube videos and just get the most ridiculous responses ever and I didn't know where to go to talk hockey, I don't remember how but something got me to this great website. And I love it here, I just think it could be better with a few more people.

Thoughts on this idea?

That is actually not a bad idea. People are already talking about hockey on there, so why not try to bring them over? The only hard part will be how to interject into a YouTube comments section: "oh yeah, everyone come chck out our site!" If you do it like that, then people will ignore it most likely...
