IF the leafs could get the #6 pick for Kubina I woulddo it in a heartbeat. That said I doubt Kuby alone is enough to get that pick.

What do you have against Bouwmeester? There is no one in the system that could even come close to what Bouwmeester brings.

I think Kubina has to go, unless as you can get an asset for him. Letting him walk, because he is too old to be part of the future plans in the 5-10 year time frame is just a bad idea. And other than this summer window I don't think there is any other opportunity to trade him.
