So the LEafs have played themselves out of a top pick again. It is their sorry past history of drafting outside of the no-brainer picks that has me worried, but I take comfort in the fact that the league is full of young stars taken outside the top 5 or 10.

Heck the best goalie to ever play was taken later in the 1st round.
So hopefully the Leafs can hit a home run with what they get. Don't hold your breath but keep your fingers crossed.
The biggest problem is that our new GM has the same mindset that caused us to draft Antropov ahead of Gagne.
