Sundin is still the captain until he is no longer the captain.
If/when, then my choice is Matty Stajan.

At which point I will burn my Leafs jersey and refuse to cheer for them until they pick a decent captain not a fringe NHLer.

like I said in the other thread the leafs should go with Kaberle. As for other leaders I wouldn't be surprised to hear that in the absences of Joe Sakic the Avalanche decided to make either Smyth or Tucker captain.

No chance of Tucker.
Ian Laperriere before Tucker.

I"m sure that'd be fixed once a player that isnt' a fringe NHL'er arrives in Toronto.

Ours A's would be an interesting move considering that the team has moved part of its core and other players seem less likely to recieve a homely spot on the roster I would have to say that the As on this team will most likely fall on Antropov and Steen, I would say Mayers but with every fibre of my being I am praying that Mayers doesn't have a consistant spot on our roster.
