Actually... no. I think not. He has an A, I think that's good enough.
I'm not much for reaching out my sympathetic hand the last few years with this team. For the most part they've turned me pretty cold when it comes to the Leafs, and I am really mad at what has happened over the last few years.
Tomas Kaberle plays his game and that's all he should do really. He's been there a long time but that doesn't mean to much to me in this case. So has Antro, and I'd never have him sporting the 'C'.
And as for Bryan McCabe, I hope they can finally rid themselves of the man, but unfortunately he doesn't want to waive his NMC so that the Leafs get something in return for moving him. He want s to be bought out and that's it. Maybe they can bench him or something. He's one of the last players that should ever get the C. He doesn't lead by example out there. If anything his attitude on the ice is a distraction to the team. There's something wrong with the man.
And finally, Mats Sundin better make up his mind now, and it either better be that he goes to Montreal/Ottawa in a trade now (so that Fletcher has time to plan away with his old brain), he re-signs with the Leafs, or he retires.
As someone who defended him before the trade deadline I don't want him to now continue to hold my team hostage and (if it gets to that point), leaving on July first for another team and having Toronto get no compensation. That would be the ULTIMATE betrayal.
So what's it gonna' be big guy, huh?
