Gotta love the Islanders for taking on overpaid or overhyped players for talent.

The fact that the Leafs have to rely on Tucker as a scoring threat is troubling in itself

Wonder if Ottawa coudl use a backup goalie that doesn't act like he's **** his drawers every day? I know a few teams could probably use him (Los Angelas for starters)

Who? LA? Tampa Bay? Unless the guys makes a miraculous recovering you'll get peanuts for this guy...if anything at all.

Wonder if Boston fans felt the same way about Bourque going to the Avs, or Rangers fans seeing Leetch in Boston yellow?

The guys one of the few talented guys on the Leafs. he deserves a chance at winning, and it wont' be in Toronto during what remains of his career. If the team was smart, they'd try to convince him that it's in everyone's best interest that he try to help a team for next years playoffs.

Too bad the team was still lousy.

The IIHF is proving that they're not as far down the totem pole as they used to be.

Also find it amusing that when he's goign to Toronto he's good. When he's not, he sucks. Quite amusing. (not picking on you per say, just seems to be a constant with the Leaf fans that I know in my travels)

Helps to not base everything on Toronto media when it comes to the Leafs either.

If he could stand up for himself he'd still be in Edmonton.

Trade Blake for nothing-YA! He's not that bad, his career is still pretty good, on another team there's no reason why he can't bag 25.

NY didn't want Leetch anymore, and he gladly left to win and because he had repect for the club that paid him a lot over his time there. Mats never would have got the kind of money he did without being in the TO market pre-lockout. He should have waived out of respect for the team. Keep in mind, without owners and teams there are no jobs.

Bourque didn't do the no-waive either, Boston wanted to keep him but he wanted to win, (something Mats will regret not moving on to go do). Two totally different situations.

Burke might come in as prez with nonnis as GM, no one has said it in the media though.

I never said Brunnstrom was good or bad, in fact no one knows if he's good or bad, he hasn't played a game in the NHL.
