I would 100% disagree. Now that Paddock is gone Maurice is easily the worst coach in the NHL.

All the tell tale signs (that coaching can affect) are there:

• Frequent blow-outs
• No identity
• Giving up leads late
• Scoring and then being immediately scored upon
• Only winning when it doesn't count
• Poor on the PP
• Poor on the PK
• Young players plateaued or getting worse
• Team makes the same mistakes over and over and over
• Over works a goal-tender (refuses to use a backup)

Not to the same extent, and I certainly don't think that Pat Quinn was the answer. Again too many problems, no system.

I was one of the guys cheering when they changed Pat for Paul, but I will freely admit that things are much worse under Paul with what should be a better team.
