but really, dropping raycroft and trading for a defencemen? that's the LAST thing I hope JFJ does.

Kronwall has a broken hand too. The real key is that Colaiacovo is due back in the next few games. Why trade for Morris when you have Coli coming back?
I like the idea of dropping Raycroft though.

Hmm... interesting.
Hopefully he gets better soon, then they can trade him.

I think this is a blessing in disguise. McCabe makes far too many bad decisions with the puck that cost the Leafs dearly. Too bad we couldn't find a Coach or tutor who could teach intelligence, because man, McCabe could use it. I'd trade him for a bag of chips, but Ferguson took care of that with this contract....correct me if I am wrong, but does McCabe make approximately 7.14 million this year ranking him 4th highest among NHL defencemen? The big shot from the point is not a secret and it hasn't been for a few years, he seems to think his shot can penetrate through players, of course instead end up blocked and the race is on toward the Leaf goal......not to mention his fighting ability. I won't touch too much on this except to say my 7 yr old daughter has a better punch. He reminds me of Nuke Lalouche from Bull Durham, million dollar player with a five cent head.

Without a doubt McCabe makes some plays that leave one scratching the head, but is it a coincidence that the leafs roll back down the hill started with him out of the lineup? Because he was playing a good game for long stretches just before the injury.
Oh and hey Rover! Long time, nice to see an old face

Agreed that McCabe had been playing better, but for that salary......I truly think it is coincidence the Leafs fell after the injury. The Leafs started to play better when Don Cherry ripped them on HNIC pointing his finger and stating that they should be ashamed of themselves for the way they have handled themselves in the media and on the ice. Too bad he doesn't rip them every week.
Amo, glad to hear from you and I hope to not be a stranger. This has been my fave site all along. By the way, I noticed I won the Challenge from last year, not bad eh?

Oh I dunno, Super Genius, or, Mr. Wonderful....lol. But seriously, due to my lack of time online and lack of posts over that same period of time, if you wish to designate that right to the next best total score, that in my mind would only seem fair.
