Crosby: +0.95, -0.79 (+1.74)

First half of the year McCabe was playing with Woz not White. If that isn't going to hurt someone's plus minus I don't know what will...

Its strange to say, but right now, McCabe is actually covering up for Kaberle's mistakes.

No, it was definitely Ian White: http://www.behindthenet.ca/2007/plyr_533.html

McCabe's gamelog shows that White was his primary defense partner in 7 of the first 10 games, with Wozniewski having that role later on, in games #11 thru #13. As you said, though: it propbably didn't help McCabe, but he certainly he wasn't getting huge minutes with him in more than 3 games.

yeah i noticed Kaberle had made a couple of more mistakes starting with the Dallas game. I didnt see it in tuesdays game so maybe he is over his rough patch. Got to step up against Jagr tonight.

I'm so glad Sundin is having a fantan year. but it makes one wonder if he is setting himself up to be traded. i have no idea what his contract status is; but i remember him saying he would not really sign himself for a lot of years saying he would rather take it one year at a time. with that mentality + the fact, I really don't think the leafs have what it takes to go deep into the playoffs (and win), Sundin could be wearing different colours by the time Trade Day comes and goes..

He has always to this day maintained that he does not want to win a cup anywhere else but Toronto. For his sake I hope he comes to his senses, and as sad as this makes me, its not happening in his tenure as leafs captain. The best think he could do to honor the Leafs, is to waive his NTC, go to a team thats willing to give the Leafs some prospects and picks. He could aways resign with the leafs next year ala Keith Tkachuk.

I dont think people notice this too much about Sundin but this guy hasnt had one season under 70 points since 1994 where he had 47 points in 47 games and also in his rookie season where he had 59. I respect this guy so much because he has stuck with the leafs through the good times and the bad times and has made it clear that he wants to retire as a leaf and bring a cup here before he does retire. Year after year he constantly produces points and works his ass off every shift, generates scoring chances every game, and is a great team player/leader. Sundin I find uses his size so well in getting around defenceman and is always a threat when hes on the ice. I cant understand why people would think this guy is overrated when he constantly proves himself night after night of how good of a hockey player he is. Im not a leaf fan but I am sure as hell a Mats Sundin fan/supporter.

They think he's overrated because:

a) He's a Leaf
b) He was making top tier money for above average point production
c) He's a Leaf
d) He doesn't finish in the top 10 in scoring very often

nothing but respect for Mats Sundin.. That man is as classy as they come. He might not want to be traded from toronto to win a cup but man he diserves it. I got nothing but respect for my captain. I couldn't or wouldn't want anyone other than sundin as the captain of the leafs. I think jokienen is another Sundin type in the making though.
