Toronto Maple Leafs defenceman Bryan McCabe has a slight strain but will probably play against the Pittsburgh Penguins on Thursday night. To be safe, the Leafs have called up defenceman Staffan Kronwall as well as forward Jiri Tlusty, who will make his NHL debut.

I, for one, hope that McCabe sit's for this game. Not because I think McCabe "sucks". Rather, I'd prefer the team errs on the side of caution and makes sure McCabe's as close to 100% as possible before inserting him in the line up. For two reasons.....we saw how ineffective Tucker was playing injured to start the year (granted that was his knee) and I don't want McCabe's muscle strain to get worse; he'll be out the line up longer down the road then.
