GDT: Toronto Maple Leafs @ Detroit Red Wings -- Sept. 29/07
Last pre season game, Leafs won last night so I predict a double, Leafs will win 4-3.

Well Detroit is icing their full lineup and we aren't, so I dunno if we'll win or not. But you never know. Anyway lines:

Battaglia - Kilger - Newbury
Ondrus - Devereaux - Pohl
White - Stralman
Kronwall - Wozniewski
Harrison - Muir
Toskala
Raycroft
Red Wing Lines:
Tomas Holmstrom - Pavel Datsyuk - Johan Franzen
Jiri Hudler - Daniel Cleary - Mikael Samuelsson
Igor Grigorenko - Matt Ellis - Mark Hartigan
Kirk Maltby - Tomas Kopecky - Mattias Ritola
Nicklas Lidstrom - Brian Rafalski
Nicklas Kronwall - Andreas Lilja
Johnathan Ericsson - Brett Lebda

NOTABLE SCRATCHES: Henrik Zetterberg, Valtteri Filppula, Kris Draper, Dallas Drake, Chris Chelios, Chris Osgood

Sadly, Detroit aren't icing their full lineup. Just look at the notable scratches, Zetterberg, Chelios, Filppula, and Draper all aren't playing.
With Toronto not playing Sundin, tucker, Wellwood (IR), Kaberle, AND McCabe, they'll be extremely lucky to muster up a win. Also Carlo is also out of action.

So yeah the Wings aren't icing their full lineup, but something fairly close to it. Although minus Zetterberg is a huge hit, and minus Draper and Filppula does hurt them. However, seeing as the Leafs iced none of their veteran defencemen, we aren't exactly in any shape to be yapping. But the Leafs are competitors, so I'm guessing we'll only lose by about 5 goals.

Third game in 3 nights for the Wings? Think they might be tired? Leafs should win.

I'd like for Tlusty to make the team out of camp.
But that defense looks horrible. We'll see how they hold up under the pressure with White and Stralman seeing top pairing minutes. Hopefully Toskala doesn't get shelled from this poor D on paper.

Toskala not looking like he's worth a single penny right now.

Yep and it ended 4-0. I have to give props to Toskala, he had a great first period, made some key saves. I didn't really expect us to win this one.
