Default the ULTIMATE LEAFS playoff RUN..>>

Round ONE:
tor: vs ott:
- Battle of Ontario. Toronto shows Ottawa who's boss.
- When Alfie loses, he goes to get a perm.

Round TWO:
tor: vs phi:
- Gets rid of last year's demons.
- One difference: Brian Leetch. Remember, he won us our last game of the season against the Flyers.

Round THREE:
tor: vs mon:
- Pretty self explanatory.
- Long time arch rivals, but Toronto has had an edge on them.

Round FOUR:
tor: vs det:
- CUJO plays!
- Detroit is a power house, but I think we've got enough heart to pull it off.

maybe i'm looking to far ahead, but i just think it would be cool...

yes it does seem like a good way to make it to the cup. All teams we have rivals with, except for detroit, isnt a big one there....yet.

But I dont think its Detroit who we will play, coz Calgary will knock them off, so its either Calgary or Colorado.

don't count the chickens before they hatch. as MUCH as i love the Leafs and I know they are going to go far, we've got to keep an even keel and go for it one day at a time. it's going to be bummpy

Oh detroit is a rival, Cujo plays for that team.

As far as the original thread starter.. dont count your chickens before they hatch, but if the leafs win this series, I think the cup is theirs.

Don't forget that, for as long as I can recall, no team has ever knocked off Montreal and then went on the win the Cup (unless it was for the Cup).

Actually Detroit and Toronto have had a very long time rivallry going, they both used to be in the same division so they met up at least 5 times a year for years, and it was all out war.

As for saying we will win the cup? I am glad we have fans like you to keep us grounded.

Its a decent prediction and it seems to be taking shape but I do have a problem with Detroit there, and I don't see the Canadiens beating the Lightning

i think posting his predictions, on hockey forums is a little different then alfie predicting to the press that he would win the cup, and games 6,7
