How long is Belfour out, from a report on ESPN in transactions it says Toronto placed him on the IR today.

I have complete faith in Telly's ability. I, as well as many others, would like to see him playing instead of Kidd any day. I sincerely hope that he doesn't get sent back down, even when Eddie returns.

My mistake ops: ...you're right on the money, I've checked it at http://www.hockeyzoneplus.com/cgi-bi...alaries...Kidd makes $650 000 this year...two years ago he was making 2.3 mil...that probably got me thinking that now he's making 2.5 mil ops:
In this case I have no idea as to why Pat still insist of playing him over Telly...maybe Pat wants to justify his signing :?:

JFJ was interviewed during the leaf game and said Belfour could be back Monday, if not he should be back by the middle of the week and certainly by the end of the week. The only reason he was placed on the IR is so Tellqvist or Kidd wouldn't have to be sent down today.

IMO, toronto should trade for a reliable backup, and allow telly to have more maturity time in the AHL. It did wonders for raycroft to have time to mature in providence.
