Well since it's in TO, no reason why they won't win. They're playing well right now, and know that Boston, and Ottawa are right behind them. Look for a 5-2 win by the Leafs.

Leafs-3, Sabres-2.

I'm sure they'll win this one, Boston and Ottawa are on their heels.

Then again, Buffalo isn't too far out of the playoffs picture, so they'll be tough like always.

Summary: unbeaten in 3 (Ottawa, Tampa and Columbus), we're still 1 point from being Number one in the East, we're holding strong onto number one of the divison. I'd rather have Ottawa and Boston duke it out for number 4/5 and we win our first title since (surprise, surprise) 1967. We face Buffalo on Valentines day, but there won't be an abundance of love as Buffalo owns us, but we need every point and as it's a division rival, we need it more than ever

Last Meeting: We tied Buffalo 3-3, and Buffalo leads the series 1-0-1-0

Important Stats: Leafs are 22-0-3-1 when leading after first. whoa baby

Expect to see Fitzy and Nieuwy take the pre-game skate. depending on their injuries (ankle, and oblique muscle respectfully) they COULD see action. In that case, prpare yourself NOT to see number 80, Nick Antropov and Nathan Perrott.

Mogliny is being evaluated on Monday; he COULD play next week.

Did you know: belfour isn't the only one who doesn't like the fact that the Goalies are being punished. the Leaf Faithful don't like it either. the ACC expoded into cheers Thursday night when belfour played the puck on an delayed penalty to Col. at the centre ice line....ha ha.

Outcome: depending on how smart the leafs play this can go from one extreme to another.

I hate to see Buffalo coming in to play against us, ever since that New Years massacre I get this creepy feeling we are going to collapse, this team above all other teams makes me feel that way, with Ottawa I hope for the best and expect the worse, with Montréal I expect the best and hope for the best. But when Buffalo comes a calling I hate it I hate it I hate it.........

Having said that I think it will be another loss at the hands of the Sabres, lets say 3-2.

leafs should win this one easy. i know we've had troubles against the sabres but thats mostly away from home. i expect the leafs to win by two goals or more. prediction 5-2 toronto.
