The leafs JUST won this game, habs could have easily tied it. They look ordinary so far. Belfour won this game, old man eagle hands down
Great game means goals???

Well you might as well start watching another sport, because with the ability of goalies today you aren't gonna see too many games with a lot of goals. Even with the new restriction of goalies pads goals are still down. Even lower than they were last season.

A great game now should be measured on shots and quality of scoring chances, because the Leafs had some good chances but Theodore was there on all of them except one(the Jackman goal).

btw, Belfour won this game :? How about Theodore kept Montreal in this game. The Habs were outplayed for most of the game and had no business being in it.

I disagree, a good game is one played with high offensive spirit, how about that?

However, I do think the majority of hockey fans would rather see tick tack toe goals, than big saves.

But, I do see what your saying, however, don't tell me to find a new sport k:

Well I agree with you on that. I would rather see a pretty goal opposed to a pretty save. But, like I said, goalies are so good now you more likely to see a pretty save over the pretty goal.

Right on

Your right, these days it is more saves than goals. Since the goalies are better

What can you do, but move with the times I guess

Toronto looked like a team that can contend for the east title (playoffs that is). Kondratiev (I realize he's learning) and Berg really made me nervous out there though.

man, i was at the game on saturday and wow! there were tons of leaf fans and it was a great game. i thought the leafs played a very disciplined game and turned it up a notch in their own end. good to see this team play some good D. having eddie between the pipes can only make any defense better. there was no shortage of eddie! eddie! chants after the game. i felt that reichel and tucker were the best players out there for the buds, and though sundin didnt score any points, he looked good out there and seemed like he'll be putting points up soon enough. go leafs! but holy crap! nolan you bum, do something! i still have confidence his game will improve, but how long to wait? id also like to see roberts and newy clicking out there.
