Biggus Dickus

Clearly the Leafs can play inspired hockey. However, they don’t seem able to sustain it. When they get going, they look good. When they fail, they look bad - very bad. ****, they seriously run around and can’t even lapse into a decent defensive position when it happens.

I wouldn’t be pissed about it if were occasional. But, it’s not.

F*ck, Quinn sucks. When I look at this team and see the talent, I think it’s good. No, it’s better than good. Problem: Quinn sucks.

I like his idea of creative hockey. It’s fine. Somehow I never imagined creativity implied five f*cking skaters flopping foolishly in the slot. I hate overly oppressive defensive teams but some sort of system would be alright.

This is a good team. Time to look at Quinn I think.

Quinn needs to get these guys hitting again. The Leafs need to start getting physical because they play their best when their playing on an edge. Guys like Tucker, Roberts, and Nolan play best when their running guys over and going to the net.

i noticed the leafs play to the level of their opponents most nights. i dont think its so much quinns fault this team hasnt gotten off to a better start. there are far too many veterans on this team to need much direction. after all these years playing this game, they should know more or less what needs to be done. but i agree, the aggressive kick butt leafs need to come back. however, would that be wise i wonder, if it just got them back into the routine of too many penalties? they were the most penalized team last year overall, and things like that can hurt your overall record and performance. especially without any star stud d men. but thats the leafs. they play their best when they're hitting and messin it up
