Is Tellvqist ready to become the leafs full time back up or will Kidd get his job back when he fully recovers from his injury?

Me thinks that when the Kidder comes back he will slide into the backup position, much like the Carlo situation it would do him good to go down to St John's for more ice time so that he can become more comfortable with the North American ice surface.

Personaly Rusty i would take Kidd any time as the flyers back up as i think he is still a more than capable goalie that can still get the job done.Tellvqist on the other hand has also shown signs of being an adaquit goalie,as he played well in his short stint up with the leafs last year.and also played well enough for the swedes at the worlds to take Salo's starting job away from him.I think if the right deal comes along when Kidd comes back that he will be the odd man out and dealt away,as Tellvqist would be the better fit for Fergusons youth movement.

Of course you would. When Hackett has his usual groin pull or knee injury by November, you will need some insurance, although weak!!!
