I'm starting to have my doubts about Carlo,as with as terrible as Lummes play was last year and he stuck with the leafs the entire season it can only leave one asking just how much work does Carlo need if he's still not able to crack the leaf line up when Lummes play last year was good enough to keep him in the line up nightly?

Lumme played last year because of his contract. Your not gonna bench a guy who's one of your highest paid dmen. Plus, Quinn has always been loyal to his vets which is another factor. As for Carlo, the kid probably could play in the NHL this year and contribute good offensive numbers, but his defensive zone coverage would be a big problem. Getting burned by NHL players everynight isn't the way to go. It'll just hurt his development. So I say let him play in the Rock for one season alongside Bell and they can go through the growing pains that most yound dmen probably face together. And hopefully they'll both be ready next year when Klee and Marchment's contracts are up.
