Terry Sawchuk died at age 40 after a incidence which is still not fully known where he accidently got banged up in a "play" scrap with a friend while drunk and died 3 days later in a hospital.

The Leafs scored 3 goals in 1:02 vs. the Thrashers in 2006-07 and went on to win 3-2 in that game.
