The Leafs came cloest to the cup finals in the last 40 years in 1992-93 season playoffs where game 6 in conf. finals Fraser missed a cheap high stick where Gretzky high sticked Gilmour, minuites later Gilmour was in the box and Gretzky scored the winner (actually about a 1:30 later in OT). A computer sim showed the Leafs would have sweeped the Habs in the final. They would play game 7 and lose as well.

The Leafs are a grammatical error, but the name is kept that way anyway(should be Leaves, plural of Leaf).

On the Leafs radio show, callers call in with their opinions. These are either good after a win or calling for a coach's neck and player contracts after a loss.

The Leafs have a TV newtork called Leafs TV which shows pre game shows/post game shows, shows morning skates, Leafs talk, media coverage of Leafs and generally once per week depending on number of games per week it shows a game.
