I've already taken into account what I post. I try not to personally insult other users. The moderator's post was exactly that...a personal insult. The Flyers won the series to boot! This guy was just enraged about something I posted and could not control himself then attacked me in a public forum. A very poor example of what a moderator should do in any forum trying to build a user base. I could not help but post my recent troubles here when I saw this thread.

At no point did I suggest that you were solely to blame in the incidents I listed.
At no point did I defend the post of the moderator that you mentioned.
What I did point out is that flaming, name calling, and belligerence, no matter who started it, are things which might scare away new users, which is something that you and I both agree on.
For what it's worth, I had already read through each post in the threads you mention. Assigning blame was beyond the scope of my post, as I was trying to make the point that even if somebody else started flaming, we can all end it by not taking part in it ourselves.
That is the furthest thing from condoning personal insults.
