one period done, 2-1 red wings. I thought it was a pretty balanced first period. the red wings got a lot of momentum with two quick goals, one on just a nice trailer picking up a rebound, and another quick breakaway on a PK, definely dishing a big blow to the blues power play. After the two goals, the blues looked like they were chasing and trying to force things, just need to stay calm and play their game. However, the blues killing off a wings 5 on power play in the last 1:30 of the period kinda took a big chunk out of the wings' momentum. A strong start to the second period, and the blues could swing all the confidence back towards the note. Let's Go Blues!!

three unanswered goals to take a 4-3 lead into the third. Penality Kill is being tested way too much with a 5 on a 3 and a 4 mins double minor High stick. But only one PP goal out of all it, can't complain too much. But, still a big 20 mins left. Let's Go Blues!!

game one is in the books, and the Blues win 4-3 over the big tough wings. very hard hitting and very exciting. I definely think tomorrow will be very entertaining and exciting. Like it or not, the blues are for real and they are coming!
