Most shark fans have been trying to cut him more slack than Marleau since he had double Hernia surgery over the end of the summer. You don't just bounce back from those surgeries. it takes months.

After much patient waiting..........

11 goals in his last 16 games so far with his goal in the flyers game tonight, after a dismal 6 goals in the previous 38 games.

He's been on the decline since his flash in the pan year. His goal totals have consistently gone down.

One season does not make some great player.

I wouldn't hold my breath if i was a Sharks fan.

His scoring of 28 goals on a checking line in his second year with 2 old non scoring Geezers begs to differ

Thornton might turn him from a 30 goal scorer to a 56 goal scorer, but a broken leg last year, and double Hernia surgery this year took a toll on him.
