I'm also really proud of what the Devils did this season. They just never quit. Down 3-2 to the Panthers they responded by winning back to back OT games. They took out the rival Flyers rather quickly. They fell behind the Rangers 2-1, then fought back to win the next three and exorcise some playoff demons. Down 3-0 to the Kings in the Final, they gutted out two wins to make it a series. Obviously it hurts to get that far and not win the Cup, but they got further than I thought they would. It was a wild, fun, and memorable season.

Yeah, congrats to the Kings/Flyers West on winning the Cup and the Devils for definitely making it further than most people, especially I, thought they would. Even though they took out my Flyers, I have to give them respect for the way they played against my team and the others they faced and refused to give up.
