Excited to see Depres play in the NHL, and to see if he can stay. I think he'll need to be paired with Engllend, who won't get caught in the offsive zone, so that he can utilize his puck moving.

I think Jeffery is the odd man in the press box for the start of the season. Trangradi is going to hopefully be given a good chance at the second line.

Can't wait for the games to begin.

Dustin Jeffrey seems to be trying to not play in the NHL. He was on the fourth line in the first game against Philly, played aweful, and was immediately sent to the press box for game two. Enter Joe Vitale in his spot on the fourth line, and Joe V. played phenominal in his role. I think that just made Dustin the Dust catcher in the press box until someone gets injured.

After a slow start, the Pens seem to be humming now. The young guns on the blue line(Depres and Bortorzzo) scar me a little as I think they have the tendancy still to make some bad decisions, but I can see great potential.
They are doing so well that the Pens could afford to get rid of Ben Lovejoy, for a fifth rounder, not much, but they were going to lose him probably in waivers or at the end of the season for nothing.

Boychuk's addition seems at first to be a good deal, but we'll have to see long term. He hasn't scored yet on Malkin's line, but he is creating oppurtunities for both Malking and Neal. This could mean the end of Tangradi, because the Pens need to make a decision on him. He will not get any better in the press box every night, and they'll lose him if they try to send him down. Could be a case, like Lovejoy, of getting something for him.
