Default Bye Bye Bobby Scuds

Well Rob Scuderi signed a 4 year contract with the Kings for $3.4M per year. That was just too much for the Pens to try to match. Best of luck Scuds.

Well its true that the Pens would not have won the cup without his contribution, but he is not a $3.4M per year player. You can never tell sometimes whether it is the player, or the player inside the system. I think that the Pens system fit Scud's very well. And I'm glad that he got the payout for a couple of great seasons with the Pens. But I'm also glad that the Pens passed on matching that contract. $3.4M can be spent alot more wisely.

Although I agree with you I'm going to miss Scuds. He did such a great job for the Pens this season and I wish him good luck in LA.

Good luck Scuds and I am sure Shero will spend that 3.4 Mil. more wisely

I think Scuderi will do an excellent job in Los Angeles. If they pair him with Greene, then they have one hell of a shut down pair. Also brings some solid experience to a team which has very little.

He's played 12 NHL games. I wouldn't be relying too heavily on him to replace Scuderi.

Keyword there is hope. I'm not expecting anything, but maybe he will be like Scuds, who is a no-name then comes out of nowhere.
