Biron will always be Biron. The reason that the Sabres got rid of him was that they didn't see him leading them to the next level. He seem to fail in the big games. Not sure why, he seems like such a great goalie, then will just go in the tank. I don't think he would accept a backup role at all, too many teams in need of a #1 goalie that he could fit into.
Conklin is a great backup, but I don't think that he could be a #1 for a cup contender.
And I don't think that a team like the Flyers, who are built around contending for the coming years would take a chance on Khabibulin, who will be 37 next year.
If they have money to spend, Kari Lehtenon is a RFA. Save% almost the same, but Kari didn't have much of a defense(or offense) to help him in Atlanta.
